My Experience with “My Stamp” Service
By: Arpit Shrivastava (Class 8th)
We went to the post office for our educational programme. “My Stamp” is a service by India Post Office where you can have a stamp made with your own image or design. This service is great for personal use, gifts or souvenirs, and you can get it made from a post office.
However, it is different from stamp papers used for collections or legal documents (like ₹100 stamp).
Thank you.
Visit to the Post Office
By: Aditiya Chaurasiya (Class 8th)
Good morning everyone! Yesterday I went to visit the post office with my friends and teachers at 10:00 am. There we got to know about different levels of post offices, for example: Head Office, Sub-office.
Post office not only takes parcels from one place to another; it is also known as a small saving bank because here we can save up to ₹2 lakh in one account. We can save money and do transactions. It doesn’t lend money as loans because they are not listed in Share Market.
Post office is controlled by the government.
Educational Visit to the Post Office
By: Naman Patel (Class 8th)
Yesterday, our school organized an educational visit to the local post office. It was an exciting and informative experience for all of us. Most of us had seen a post office only from the outside, so this visit helped us understand how it actually works.
Starting the Visit
We reached the post office with our teachers in the morning. A postal officer welcomed us and guided us inside. The building was busy with people sending letters and speed posts.
We were divided into small groups so that everyone could closely observe the work at each counter. There are many types of counters like:
- Speed Post Section
- Savings and Banking Section
